When the dog arrived at a safe place, he was given a medical check-up. His wound was cleaned and bandaged properly, and he was given much-needed pain treatment.
It was time to begin the repair process once it looked like he would live. A long road to recovery lay ahead, but there were some optimistic signs of development along the way.
At first they had to use a syringe because he was too weak to feed himself. But the next day he was able to feed himself! The wound had healed beautifully by the second day!
With such a serious wound, this angel may have felt hopeless. However, love keeps hope alive.
